Spiredle rules and how to play
Spiredle hides one Slay the Spire card a day and compares your guesses against it across six attributes. You get six attempts, and each attempt tells you how close the card's name, rarity, type, cost, colour and keywords were. This page explains the columns, the colour states and how the daily round works.
What is Spiredle?
Spiredle is a Wordle-style guessing game built around Slay the Spire cards. Instead of letters, the attributes of a full card are the puzzle: the answer is a specific card, and your guesses are compared field by field against it.
The game runs in the browser on its own site, presents the round with a card-name search box, and shows how many of your six guesses you have used in the corner of the board.
How to play Spiredle
Type a card name into the search box and submit it as your guess. The board answers with a row of comparisons rather than letters.
Each guess is scored across six fields: name, rarity, type, cost, character and colour, and keywords. Every field comes back as correct, wrong or partially correct, so a partial hit on cost or rarity still tells you which part of the card pool to search next.
You have six guesses in total. When a field matches exactly you have found the right value for that attribute, and the row you build over six attempts is what narrows the answer down.
The daily card
One card is the answer each day, and everyone is solving the same one. Sharing your result produces a line in the usual style, such as finishing the round in a number of guesses, without spoiling the card itself.
This guide never names today's card, its rarity, its cost or the keywords it carries.
